Hi Brian,

indeed, when I read your first reply I noticed that I should have mentioned the 'dbmcli -i' option to execute dbmcli commands from an input file in the same session, but by now you already know this :-)

I am glad you got your script to work, but still if there is any bug on our side, we should fix it. Let me test it a bit and I will get back to you later...

And one more hint about dbmcli commands in general: you can get detailed help for every dbmcli command by using an 'explain' within a dbmcli session, e.g. 'explain background_server_show_status'.
